“Flying Circus member Jana Leigh Sheaffer was performing the wingwalker maneuver during the Leesburg Airshow on Sept. 28, 2024. I was taking an advanced photography class in college where I had to work on a personal project throughout the semester. I chose a photojournalism theme, as that is the path I want to follow. I called my project ‘A Vivid Second.’ I took photographs of different events that involved people and events. I worked on capturing images that would bring diverse emotions to the viewers.”
