“I had been wanting to get photos of a heron for a while, and on one visit last September to the trail behind the National Recreation & Park Association building near the Beaverdam Reservoir, I got my chance. I got some photos from afar while waiting and hoping that the heron would fly and that I could get a good shot of it while it was flying. And after waiting a while, I got my chance.”
